After 15+ years of working for others, I realized I couldn’t fully be myself or care for customers the way I wanted to. When my third child, Serenity, was born, my grandfather encouraged me to open my own business—a place where I could treat people like family. That’s how Serenity’s Touch was born, named after my daughter and inspired by a prayer for peace and kindness.
I’ve seen too many stylists prioritize profits over people, and I knew I wanted to do things differently. At Serenity’s Touch, we focus on honesty, quality, and making every client feel special. Over the years, I’ve won every hair competition I’ve entered and even been featured in a magazine for my work. But my greatest achievement is building a salon that feels like home.
In 2016, I lost my son, Jared, in a tragic accident. Despite the challenges of fighting for justice in a system that often favors the “good old boy network,” I worked tirelessly to pass Jared’s Law in Sullivan County. This law ensures accountability and safety, honoring Jared’s memory and helping others avoid similar pain.
In the midst of my grief, I turned to my business and my skills to heal. I’ve hosted cut-a-thons to help grieving parents cover funeral costs and used my platform to support others in their darkest moments. Serenity’s Touch isn’t just a salon—it’s a place of healing, hope, and community.

Goldielocks & The Three Bears – A Magical Space for Kids
As a new grandma to my 4-year-old grandson, I was inspired to create something truly special for children. That’s how Goldielocks & The Three Bears came to life—a magical, sensory-friendly salon designed to make haircuts fun, safe, and stress-free for kids. With car chairs, toys, snacks, and prizes, it’s more than just a haircut—it’s an experience. I’m proud to say that we’re the first salon in Sullivan County and New York to offer something like this. Every child deserves to feel special, and at Goldielocks & The Three Bears, we make that happen.
My children and I been going to Goldie for years on and off and I love her. I always feel amazing after. She does great with my kids. She even works with the mistakes of my children deciding to cut their own hair! I love Goldie. She does amazing work and always gives her honest opinion about what to use and not to use! I absolutely LOVE this salon! Goldie is an absolute sweetheart who is very talented and AMAZING with kids! She dedicated an entire space of her salon specifically for kids! It's beautiful there and always a relaxed environment with comfortable chairs to sit on while you wait for your services.
There is so many services offered there, not just haircuts, styling and coloring. Her salon offers tanning, nails and more! Stop by and give it a shot! I've known her for a few years now and she's an absolute doll. She will treat you and your family like you are her own! 💞
